Position Overview

We are seeking a talented and motivated Software Developer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in modern web development technologies and a passion for building scalable, efficient business applications. You will work on exciting projects including ERPNext customizations, full-stack web applications, and enterprise solutions for Malaysian clients.

Key Responsibilities

ERPNext Development

  • Develop and customize ERPNext applications to meet client-specific business requirements
  • Create custom DocTypes, forms, reports, and workflows within the ERPNext framework
  • Implement Malaysian compliance features including MPERS, KWSP, SOCSO, and EIS integrations
  • Build custom apps and modules for ERPNext using Frappe framework
  • Perform ERPNext installations, configurations, and upgrades
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for ERPNext implementations
  • Develop database schemas and optimize queries for MariaDB/MySQL
  • Implement authentication, authorization, and security best practices
  • Integrate third-party APIs and services
  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code

Project Collaboration

  • Work closely with the project team to deliver client solutions on time
  • Participate in code reviews and technical discussions
  • Create technical documentation and user guides
  • Provide training and support to clients and end-users
  • Contribute to project planning and estimation

Required Qualifications

Technical Skills

  • Python: Proficiency in Python 3.x, experience with web frameworks (FastAPI, Flask, or Django)(Good to have)
  • ERPNext/Frappe: Hands-on experience with ERPNext customization and Frappe framework development
  • MariaDB/MySQL: Strong SQL skills, database design, optimization, and administration
  • Version Control: Proficient with Git and collaborative development workflows
  • Linux/Unix: Comfortable working in Linux environments and command-line tools

Preferred Skills

  • Knowledge of Malaysian business compliance requirements (accounting, payroll, tax)
  • Experience with AI-assisted development tools (Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Claude)
  • Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies
  • Experience with Tailwind CSS or other modern CSS frameworks
